Cory Smith has a story that is deeply intertwined with the fabric of Montcalm County, where he grew up in the Greenville area, graduated Greenville Public School in 2004, and eventually discovered his passion for storytelling while at Michigan State University, where he graduated in 2009. In 2011 he started at the Daily News where he is a senior staff writer and photographer, Cory combines his love for words and images to capture the essence of the community that he calls home.
