For three days, the campus transforms into a living time capsule through Heritage Village, a collection of restored historic buildings that allow visitors to step back in time and experience the way life once was. Guests can enjoy self-guided tours of the village, with docents in each building to share stories, history, and answer questions.

The festival is more than just history on display—it’s an immersive experience. From reenactments, craft demonstrations, and historic exhibits to vintage base ball games, children’s activities, vendors, and live music, the Montcalm Heritage Festival brings learning and entertainment together for the whole family.

Heritage Village is a treasure for Montcalm County, preserving the area’s rich past and educating future generations about the traditions, work, and community spirit that shaped local life.
