Tie Dye Festival: Peace, Love & Music

Festival founders Larry and Mike recently joined the Discover Montcalm Podcast to share the story behind the event and what makes it so special.

How the Tie Dye Festival Began

The festival began as a private anniversary celebration for Larry and his wife Loray. Their wedding featured a live rock band, colorful energy, and a spirit of fun that inspired something bigger.

After a few successful backyard-style gatherings in Morley, the event kept growing. More people came. More bands joined. More memories were made.

Eventually the festival needed more space—and found the perfect home at Burley Park near Howard City.
